Artminers aim to use education as a means of encouraging the adoption of sustainable, clean mining methods by the world’s poorest miners. It seeks to promote sustainable mining and improve the working conditions of artisanal and small-scale miners, particularly in relation to child labour, education, gender equality and health.

Asociación Regional de Productores Mineros Artesanales del Sur Medio y Centro del Perú (AMASUC) [Mid-Southern and Central Peru Regional Association of Artisanal Miners], Peru
AMASUC represents, campaigns for and defends the rights of 36 organizations of artisanal and small-scale miners in Mid-Southern and Central Peru. Its work is focused on lobbying for improvements in the legislation governing ASM and support for the formalisation of the ASM sector and the development of entrepreneurial skills, key factors in overcoming the obstacles faced by artisanal and small-scale mining communities and their families.

Asociación de Mineros del Bajo Cauca y Nordeste Antioqueño (ASOMINEROS) [Association of Lower Cauca and North-Eastern Antioquia Miners], Colombia
ASOMINEROS is a not-for-profit company formed by 38 small-scale gold-miners' organizations in the region, most of them working in the informal sector. The association's main object is to promote the formalisation of the small-scale mining sector and the growth of the incorporated mining enterprises.

COCOMACOIRO and ASOCASAN, Colombia
The Community Council of Condoto (COCOMACOIRO) and the Community Council of Tadó (ASOCASAN) are responsible for the administration of collective territories, local co-ordination of community development projects and provision of organizational reinforcement, support, internal audit and technical assistance for certified miners. They are key partners in the Oro Verde initiative.

Corporación Oro Verde [Green Gold Corporation] (Colombia)
A partnership between the Community Councils of Tadó and Condoto, Fundación Las Mojarras and Fundación Amigos del Chocó whose aim is to promote the wellbeing of communities in the Chocó ecoregion. With a focus on building sustainable livelihoods in the context of green and fair trade markets, the Oro Verde initiative seeks to promote responsible mining practices in one of the world's biodiversity hot spots. Corporación Oro Verde currently produces the only certified ASM gold available on the market.

Corporation for Economic Opportunity supports initiatives and programmes benefitting artisanal miners in West Africa. They are founding members of the Peace Diamond Alliance. They are also promoting a special initiative to teach the women of mining communities in Liberia to shape and polish corundum into jewellery components.
